Online retailer of educational services and learning products, Bookadda said that it has acquired KoolSkool and integrated its offering to the portal.

The company said that it will now have a comprehensive learning catalog which covers school, college and advanced education segments and competitive exams, for both academic and professional requirements.

“We completed the integration a month ago and are now well positioned to cater to the entire young and learning population of India,” Hemant Kohli, the CEO & Founder of BookAdda told NextBigWhat.

Bookadda, backed by former Infosys executive Mohandas Pai, acquired KoolSkool 3 months ago in a cash and stock deal.

Co-founded by entrepreneur Hemant Kohli and Arjun Mendu Kumar, the Bookadda sells school, college and professional educational products and services. The startup’s marketplace has tie ups with online brands such as MeritNation, Edurite and others, something which online Snapdeal recently did.

With over 15 million titles in its catalog, Bookadda claims that it is the largest dedicated online book retailer in the country. It ships one book every working minute, Kohli told me.
